Test our ability

Viewpoints offers a free-of-charge support to help you get an issue back on track, while being able to show to you what we can do.

What is the problem?

At any given workplace, there are often issues – large or small – that are stuck. Everyone knows that something must be done, but it is hard to get it moving.

What is missing, what is needed?

It is seldom the expertise on the actual issue that is the problem – the company normally has that inhouse.

The challenge is rather process oriented; you need to ask and question: What is really the problem? Does everyone share this view? What are the needs? What effects do we want to achieve/get rid of? Is it really worth the trouble to change it or should we just learn to live with it? Maybe talking about it is enough.

You need to pause and ask these questions to clarify the problem and the needs. The skills to facilitate this may very well exist inhouse, but it often helps to have external support – a support that has the facilitation skills, while being untainted by the task itself.

Why turn to Viewpoints?

Process facilitation is a core competence at Viewpoints. We have extensive experience with workshop facilitation, working with management teams, project teams and other groups aiming at developing the work and the group, sometimes centered around a specific issue/problem and sometimes using a general approach. These assignments are led by Martin Cervall. He has a background in Engineering as well as in Behavioral Science, both in training (Master level) and experience. This helps him in the crucial task of balancing a structured process with an open and reflective dialogue.
